SaraSalmon

Sara Salmon is finishing up her undergraduate degree in Communication at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and will be starting graduate school in the fall.  She is heavily involved in research and extracurricular activities on campus and would like to pursue an academic career teaching Interpersonal and Health Communication.  She is passionate about sexual health education and advocacy and serves on the executive board for a university peer education group, the Sexual Health Peers.  She has worked closely with a local community HIV/AIDS group called the Greater Community AIDS Project (GCAP) to assist with fundraising and GCAP-university relations.

In her free time, Sara spins in a competitive winter guard and teaches Zumba and other group fitness classes.  She is incredibly proud of her YAB family and is excited to welcome the 2013 Board!
