Alana Zimmerman represented the State Farm Youth Advisory Board alongside Public Affairs associate Amelia Folkes during the Service- Learning Institute for teachers organized by Service-Learning Texas in San Antonio. The institute allowed teachers to gain a better understanding of service-learning through workshops, and to expose them to grant opportunities available in the field of service-learning.
